Hello, my name is Noah Wilson. I’ve lived in a number of communities in Ontario throughout my life, from small country towns to big metropolises. I’ve also been fortunate enough to travel East and West across Canada. I majored in English at the University of Ottawa which fueled my love for reading and writing. Most of my work has been in the service industry as chef, barista, and host where I found joy in being of service to others. This led me to attend Kikkawa College of Massage Therapy to further explore being a caregiver. I started a small business a few years ago to support local businesses with my hospitality expertise and help individuals who require extra care. Currently I am a stay at home Dad caring for my son while operating my business from home. My family and I find peace and joy being outdoors in the natural world from the Music Garden, taking the streetcar to High Park, and exploring the Island.
For the past 5 years I have called CityPlace my home. I’ve watched this area become a wonderful community. Since my wife and I moved here we have been blessed with a beautiful baby boy. Together we’ve met a lot of wonderful people during our daily walks around the neighbourhood. I am very passionate about initiatives for young families and children. We have lots of possibilities here to create spaces and amenities for young children as well as activity programs for youth. CityPlace has given us a safe and happy life, but I believe there is still a lot of room for growth. As a long standing member of this community I would be honoured to help cultivate that growth and look forward to watching it blossom.
