Alison Ytsma
I have lived in Cityplace for 8 years, first by myself and now with my husband, dog and one year old daughter. I am very excited for the future of the Cityplace Residence Association as I believe as one of Toronto busiest urban neighbourhoods with a population of over 15,000 we have a strong voice to make actionable changes to improve our community.
I am a public health researcher and currently work as a Program Lead at the Canadian Institute for Health Information. I have background in policy, research, and stakeholder and government relations/communication which would be an asset to this role.
I am currently involved as a community organizer for athletic clubs, managing membership for UT Triathlon club and have previous Board experience as a Vice President for my Condo.
I look forward to meeting you all at the AGM and discussing how we can together to make Cityplace a great place to live.
Some issues I am passionate about:
• Increasing street safety, reducing non-local traffic
• Improving our greenspace and Canoe Landing Park
• Making Cityplace an ideal community for young families to grow.
