Volunteer Opportunities With CityPlace Residents’ Association

We plan, organize or collaborate in the process of with various community partners to curate interesting events and activities in CityPlace! We encourage members of the CityPlace neighbourhood to join the CPRA by volunteering.

We are also looking for your suggestions on events too!

The following are some events, activities and initiatives in no particular order!

  • Halloween Spooktacular – Trick or Treat Event for Children
  • Halloween Masquerade – Adult Costume party at the Privately Owned Publicly Accessible Space (POPS) near Iceboat Terrace
  • CityPlace’s Urban Professionals and Entrepreneurs Networking Social
  • CityPlace Cares
  • WinterFest
  • Farmer’s Market/CityPlace Urban Market


  • Building Representatives (Communicate information on neighbourhood issues affecting your building and share information on CPRA events with your property manager and residents)

  • Transportation – Traffic, Transit – TTC, Metrolinx, UPX, Cycling, Pedestrians, and Parking
  • Children and Youth Engagement
