CPRA AGM and Board Election

The Annual General Meeting of the CityPlace Residents’ Association (Ontario Corporation Number 1893476) will be held at the Toronto Public Library, Fort York Branch, 190 Fort York Blvd Toronto, Ontario, on Sunday, November 24th, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., with registration beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Thanks to everyone who responded to the call for directors of the CPRA on or by October 7. The following 12 Candidates have sent in a bio and membership form and will be vying for your vote for the 9 director positions at the AGM/Board Election on November 24

Once the 9 new directors are elected, they will convene their first board meeting within 30-days of the AGM/election and at that meeting they decide by a vote among themselves or by secret ballot among themselves who assume the executive roles of President, Secretary, Treasurer etc…

Anyone who is a resident of CityPlace is welcome to come, learn more about the candidates and vote. We are using “Election Runner” for online, instantaneous voting. We will check ID at the door to verify that voters are residents of CityPlace (Drivers License/Government Issued ID) and collect email to add you to the voter’s list (for voting purposes only and input into election runner immediately). The app will be activated on the afternoon of the AGM on November 24. Paper ballots will also be available to accommodate persons unable to use the app, or in the event of technical difficulties with the app on November 24. If you live at any of the 33 CityPlace buildings that intersect with Front Street West (Blue Jays Way including Rogers Centre Area), Spadina Ave (East on Bremner to Reese St, and West on Fort York Blvd to Bathurst (East Side), and Lakeshore Blvd and Bathurst Street, you are a member of the CityPlace Residents Association.
